- Prep the Roots: Grate the fresh ginger and turmeric (if using fresh) as finely as possible.
- Combine: In a clean glass jar, add the honey first, followed by the ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper.
- Acidify: Pour in the fresh lemon juice.
- Mix Well: Stir the mixture thoroughly with a wooden spoon until it forms a thick, uniform paste.
- Storage: Store the jar in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator. It can last for several weeks.
How to Use
- Directly: Take one teaspoon every morning on an empty stomach.
- As a Tea: Stir a spoonful into a mug of warm water (not boiling, to preserve the honey’s benefits).
- With Toast: Use it as a healthy spread on your morning toast.
