Ingredients

Instructions
Combine the sliced strawberries, lemon juice, and ¼ cup of sugar in a medium bowl.
Stir well and let the mixture sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
Mash the strawberries with a fork or blend until smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, remaining sugar, and salt.
