Smoky Bacon Ranch Burger Stuffed Mozzarella Sticks
Ingredients:
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
– 1/4 cup ranch dressing
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 2 eggs, beaten
– Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bacon, ranch dressing, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
2. Cut each mozzarella string cheese stick in half to make 24 pieces.
3. Take a small portion of the beef mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a piece of mozzarella in the center and wrap the beef around it, forming a ball. Repeat with the remaining beef mixture and mozzarella sticks.
4. Dip each stuffed mozzarella stick in the beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium-high heat.
6. Fry the stuffed mozzarella sticks in batches for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
7. Remove the sticks from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
