1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup spinach
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Cooked rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes for serving
Instructions
Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker.
Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Pour the chicken broth around the chicken.
Add minced garlic on top.
Place the block of cream cheese directly over the chicken breasts.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
Once fully cooked, shred the chicken using two forks.
Stir the cream cheese into the chicken until smooth and creamy.
Add optional ingredients if desired.
Serve warm with vegetables, rice, or pasta.
