Olive Loaf Sandwich
Ingredients
2 slices sandwich bread (white or wheat)
3–4 slices olive loaf
2–3 red onion rings
1–2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
A few sliced green olives
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Lightly toast the bread if you like it crispy.
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice; add a little mustard for extra flavor if desired.
Layer the olive loaf evenly on one slice of bread.
Top with red onion rings and extra sliced olives for more bite and texture.
Sprinkle lightly with black pepper, then close with the second slice of bread.
Cut in half and enjoy right away while it’s fresh and creamy.
This sandwich is great with potato chips or a small pickle on the side for a classic deli-style bite.
