The 30-Minute Master Method: Faster Than Delivery
Step 1: Prep is Power
Sauce: Whisk all sauce ingredients in a bowl until the sugar and cornstarch dissolve. Set aside.
Noodles: Cook noodles according to package directions for al dente. Drain and toss with a tiny bit of oil to prevent sticking.
Mise en Place: Have your garlic, ginger, and all veggies chopped and ready. This cooks fast!
Step 2: The High-Heat Dance
Brown the Beef: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned and crispy in spots. Remove with a slotted spoon, leaving the drippings.
Stir-Fry Aromatics & Veggies: In the same pan, add onion and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened. Push to the side. Add garlic, ginger, and the white parts of the green onions. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
The Crunch: Add the coleslaw mix. Stir-fry for just 1-2 minutes until it begins to wilt but is still crisp.
Step 3: The Grand Unification
Combine: Return the beef to the pan. Add the cooked noodles. Give your sauce a final whisk and pour it over everything.
The Toss: Using tongs, toss and stir vigorously for 1-2 minutes over high heat. The sauce will bubble, thicken, and coat every single noodle and piece of beef in a glorious, glossy sheen.
Step 4: Finish & Serve
The Final Touch: Remove from heat. Toss in the green parts of the green onions.
Serve Immediately: Dish it up hot, garnished with sesame seeds and an extra drizzle of chili crunch if you like heat.
