Cheesecake Fruit Salad

Cheesecake Fruit Salad 🍓🍏🍯
A luscious mix of fresh fruit tossed in creamy cheesecake filling, topped with a caramel drizzle for the ultimate sweet treat!
Ingredients
For the Fruit Salad:

2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 cups green apples, chopped
1 cup grapes (red or green), halved
1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned), drained
1 cup bananas, sliced

For the Cheesecake Filling:

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled

For the Caramel Drizzle:

1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Fruit:

Wash and chop all fruits into bite-sized pieces.
Add strawberries, apples, grapes, pineapple, and bananas to a large mixing bowl. Toss gently to combine.

2️⃣ Make the Cheesecake Filling:

In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, whip the chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form (an electric mixer works best).
Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined and fluffy.

3️⃣ Combine the Salad:

Pour the cheesecake mixture over the prepared fruit.
Carefully fold the mixture into the fruit until everything is evenly coated. Adjust sweetness with more powdered sugar, if needed.

4️⃣ Add the Caramel:

Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the top of the fruit salad. Alternatively, serve the caramel on the side for dipping.

5️⃣ Chill and Serve:

Refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend.
Garnish with additional caramel drizzle or crushed graham crackers for a touch of crunch before serving.

Tips:

For a tangy twist, substitute green apples with kiwi.
To prevent bananas from browning, toss them in a little lemon juice before adding to the salad.
