Instructions:
Preheat oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the chicken:
Pat the chicken legs dry with a paper towel.
Season them with salt, pepper, and paprika on all sides.
Brown the chicken (optional but adds flavor):
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Lightly brown the chicken legs on both sides (about 2–3 minutes per side).
Remove and set aside.
Mix the sauce:
In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with milk or heavy cream.
If using, stir in the chopped onion and garlic for extra flavor.
Assemble and bake:
Place the chicken legs in a baking dish in a single layer.
Pour the mushroom mixture over the chicken, covering evenly.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake for an additional 20–25 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and golden on top.
