Apple, Cheddar & Pecan Crostini Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Crostini:
1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt, to taste
For the Topping:
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 medium apple, thinly sliced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)
½ cup pecans, chopped and toasted
1–2 tbsp honey
Fresh thyme or rosemary, for garnish
Directions:
Prepare the crostini:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush baguette slices lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and crisp.
Assemble the toppings:
On each crostini, layer a slice of apple and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese. Top with chopped pecans.
Melt the cheese:
Return assembled crostini to the oven for 5–7 minutes, or until the cheddar is melted and bubbly.
Finish & serve:
Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
