Ingredients:
– 12 oz egg noodles
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cups cottage cheese
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
– 1 cup milk
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or oil.
Cook the Noodles:
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Combine Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix together the cooked noodles, beef mixture, cottage cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and milk until well combined. Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Transfer to Baking Dish:
Pour the noodle mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:
