Ingredients:
2.2 lb (1 kg) sausages (Italian or your favorite type)
2 large onions, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh or dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)
Optional: ½ cup beer or water
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the sausages in a baking dish.
Spread the onions and garlic over the sausages and drizzle with olive oil.
Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
If desired, add beer or water to keep everything juicy.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil, turn the sausages, and bake for another 20–30 minutes until golden brown.
